MainRecipesMaindish | Cumin Coriander Steak

Cumin Coriander Steak submitted by Aaron Johnson
Description
A really quick, great tasting, steak rub. Serve with sweet potato spears and, if you're brave, collard greens for a healthy dinner. Karen made this last week (3rd week of November 2002). She added collard greens cooked in garlic and butter. Double AJ Yummy.

Directions
Preheat oven to 450.

Coat an 8-inch cast-iron skillet with cooking spray. Place the pan in a 450 degree oven for 5 minutes.

Combine brown sugar and next 4 ingredients (brown sugar through pepper); rub over both sides of steak. Place steak in preheated pan.

Bake at 450 degrees for 7 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices. Yields 4 servings.
